Drone Separations - Part II is centered around a theme of mediocrity. These idm/downtempo tunes may be moderately textured but may not prove as average as the song names indicate. Each song uses the seventh of a chord as a drone to evolve into the root of the following song. It descends through the seven modes (Locrian, Aeolian, Mixolydian, Lydian, Phrygian, Dorian, Ionian) starting in D and ending in E♭.
