Drone Separations - Part III is centered around a theme of vacancy. These groove-based tunes may be heavily textured but prove to be less empty than the song names indicate. Each song uses the third of a chord as a drone to evolve into the root of the following song. The drones are structured around a G♭min7 chord (G♭-A-D♭-E).
