Steve Setzepfandt, aka Hydro Fyter, returns with the second and last installment of his "Siblings" releases. As with many characteristics with brothers and sisters in family life, Part 2 is different than its predecessor. This release goes in a different direction with the overall sound. A more clean and polished feel. There are definitely some 80's synth tones that may resemble the themes out of the "Stranger Things" soundtrack. "Forty-Three" is another HF onslaught of driving beats and haunting synth melody. One that will be in your head giving flashbacks wanting more especially the touch of piano that can calm one's self when hearing it. As the listener makes their way through this precise release you realize you are getting lured into some darker waters but there is always a sense of hope that you can always escape. A talented artist that keeps getting better or I should say defining a style that he is molding into his own.

This is a smartly curated collection of wonderful artists and music. It's what's new in this scene right now and it's a wide open window into a collective of creative minds at their best. Impossible to name a favorite. So well worth the price of admission. Proceeds to a really worthy cause. Gary Rees

Love this. It's super and it's wonky and very organic. Easy to get lost in. Bright, majestic, and gorgeous. Brilliant job. Can't recommend this enough, fantastic work. One of my favourites this year and worth repeated listens. boycalledcrow
